Fridge vent?

If I put in an electric fridge do I have to put a vent on the outside of my trailer?

Julia?       No, you do not have to.However, if the fridge is stuck into a recess where the heat can't easily get away, you may need to vent the cabinet, etc, into the trailer to get rid of the excess...

Thanks for your help. We are not going to enclose the fridge like before. We opened up the closed area and are going to put the fridge on a sliding shelf so we can access better. Take care, Julia

It simply removes heat from inside an insulated box. That heat has to go somewhere.    That's a very good way to put it! Rob

I was wondering the same thing. I have this big vent behind the refrigerator. I was thinking that I'm going to all of this trouble to insulate the trailer and now I have this big hole in the side.
